Dubai The UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has instructed employees to return to online classes after reporting Kovid infection. The schools reopened yesterday after more than six months of closure. However, this action is only against selected schools. Authorities, however, have not released the names of the schools. School staff suspected of having Kovid disease were screened yesterday. They are advised to attend online classes till the final test results come out.

The suggestion was received via Twitter. Classes began on August 30th. Prior to the start of this academic year, the Ministry of Education had directed teachers and other staff to undergo the Kovid test. According to the report, 35,000 tests have been conducted on Dubai schools.

At present, it is up to the parents to decide whether their children should go to school or study at home. However, officials had earlier said that if the number of Kovid cases in schools increased, they would be required to resume online studies.

Currently, the number of Kovid patients in the UAE is on the rise again. On Tuesday, 574 new cases were reported. With this, 70,805 people in the country have been affected by Kovid disease.
