BREAKING NEWS: One Patient in Bantul Dies Due to Covid-19 Without Accompanied by Comorbids


TRIBUNJOGJA.COM, BANTUL – Head of the Bantul Regency Health Office, Agus Budi Rahardjo, asked the public to remain vigilant and disciplined to comply with the Coronavirus Disease or (Covid-19) Health Protocol.

Because the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid cannot be taken lightly, it remains dangerous and even deadly.

He said, in Bantul Regency until Wednesday (17/9/2020) there had been 596 people infected with the Corona virus, with 13 of them dying.

Almost all of the patients who died had comorbidities or (Comorbid).

However, one patient died but no previous congenital disease was detected.

According to him, this case is a common warning, especially to people who still doubt that Covid-19 has not killed people.

“The fact is that in Bantul, a patient who contracted the Corona virus later died. Without a Comorbid,” he explained yesterday.

Agus did not tell in detail what number of the patient and the history of the patient’s transmission.

He only revealed that, the results of the medical examination of the patient, no congenital disease was detected, such as hypertension, kidney or heart disease.

He said he suspected that the patient had indeed died from the Corona virus.
