But from the results of the examination, Pinangki was finally sentenced to discipline by the Attorney General’s Office for Supervision by not being given a structural or non-job position.
The disciplinary sentence was handed down because he was convicted of violating discipline for traveling abroad without permission nine times during 2019.
The destination countries of Pinangki on such unauthorized trips include Singapore and Malaysia.
It was during one of those trips abroad that Pinangki was allegedly met with Djoko Tjandra.
Despite having been removed, Mahfud rate, the steps taken by the Attorney General’s Office are not enough.
According to him, it is necessary to trace the alleged crime that occurred at the same time looking for other elements in the prosecutors who were allegedly involved.
“The Pinangki is not enough to just be removed, but also the criminal process is immediately sought and it is explored who else in the Attorney General’s Office is involved or in the prosecutors’ world,” Mahfud said.

Mahfud believes that the heads of the two law enforcement institutions, both the National Police and the Attorney General’s Office, are committed to investigating the involvement of “insiders” in this case.
On the other hand, the AGO respected Mahfud’s statement.
“Please argue and we respect that opinion, we just wait for the next process,” said Attorney General’s Legal Information Center Hari Setiyono told Kompas.com, Friday (7/31/2020).
Nevertheless, Hari has not been able to ascertain whether the Attorney General will drag Pinangki into the criminal sphere.
He asked all parties to see firsthand how the process continued in the future.
“We will wait,” he said.
