Government data shows that corona virus transmission still occurs in the community, so the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia continues to grow.
Based on data coming in until this Friday at 12.00 WIB, it is known that there have been 2,307 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition has caused the accumulation of Covid-19 cases to date to 135,123 people, starting from the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.

This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Task Force through the Covid19.go.id website which was accessed on Friday afternoon.
A total of 2,307 new cases were discovered after examining 26,018 specimens a day. In that period, 12,728 people were sampled.
With the record, one person can undergo specimen examination more than once.
In total, the government has examined 1,835,505 specimens and 1,039,682 people sampled.
The patient recovered and died
The same data shows that hope arises with more and more Covid-19 patients who recover.
They were declared cured based on the method of examination polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which shows a negative result of the corona virus.
There were 2,060 Covid-19 patients who were declared cured in a day.
Thus, a total of 89,618 patients were declared cured of Covid-19 and no longer infected with the corona virus.

However, the government still shows sad news with the addition of Covid-19 patients who have died.
There were 53 Covid-19 patients who died in the period 13-14 August 2020.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died in Indonesia was 6,021 people.
The change in the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered and died has resulted in the number of patients under treatment now at 39,484 people.
In addition, there were 75,257 people with suspected status related to the transmission of the corona virus.
Covid-19 cases in Indonesia are currently recorded in all provinces or 34 existing provinces, from Aceh to Papua.
In particular, there are 481 districts / cities out of 34 provinces that have been affected by the transmission of the corona virus.
