The turkey Gerald was a favorite of visitors to the park in the Grand Lake neighborhood, but in the early summer he began to diligently defend his territory and became aggressive. The reason is probably the love season.

Park officials tried to capture him, but failed. Gerald was so aggressive that it became dangerous to people in the park where he lives.

A resident of the neighborhood wanted to shelter Gerald when he was captured. He has calmed down because the love season of turkeys is coming to an end.
