Audi is asking at least € 157,060 for the new SQ7. The SQ8 must yield at least € 171,790. This makes the new petrol versions slightly more pricey than their diesel predecessors. The now-replaced SQ7 and SQ8 with diesel V8s were in the order books for approximately € 146,000 and € 161,000 respectively. With the Q7, the SQ7 is the absolute top version, the Q8 has an even more powerful variant in the form of the 600 hp RS Q8 (€ 201,245) that surpasses the SQ8.
With their new eight-cylinder engine, both models have a speed of 100 km / h in 4.1 counts. This makes them a bit faster than the outgoing versions with diesel engine. They completed the 0-100 sprint in about 5 seconds. The top speed of the new SQ7 and SQ8 versions is limited to 250 km / h. The muscular pair is not very frugal. Depending on the chosen version, the SQ duo slurps 12.0-12.1 l / 100 km. Shifting is done with the help of an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, a gearbox that naturally distributes the power to all four wheels. The SQ7 and SQ8 will be at the dealers this fall.
