New Delhi: The BCCI has announced the steps to be taken by the state associations in the wake of the outbreak of Kovid-19 disease as part of the resumption of domestic cricket season. The BCCI has handed over a 100-page list of guidelines to state associations.
According to this, those above 60 years of age will not have access to training camps. People with other illnesses are also denied entry. According to the BCCI, players will have to sign a consent form before resuming training at their respective centers. This consent is acknowledging the risks involved in resuming training during the course of the disease.
According to the BCCI guidelines, the health and safety of players, officials and support staff will be the sole responsibility of the respective state cricket associations.
The 2019-2020 domestic season ended last March. The next season was supposed to start in August. But the Cavid-19 crisis also plagued the domestic season.
Players must adhere to strict safety standards during travel to and from the stadium and training.
