Nepal ready to provoke again; The new map will be sent to India by mid-August

Kathmandu: A new map of Nepal covering Indian territory is expected to be sent to India by mid-August. The Nepalese minister said the Sharma Oli government was planning to send a map to India. The Nepalese government had earlier said it would send the new map to the UN and Google.

Preparations are reportedly underway in Nepal to bring the new map to the international community. Nepal has released a new map covering the areas of Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiadura. Construction of the English version of the map is currently in progress. It will be sent to the UN and Google after it is completed.

Nepal released the new map on June 13. Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadura are important areas as India’s border and military observatories. It has been alleged that China is behind Nepal’s claim to territory that is part of India. Strong criticism was leveled against Nepal on the issue.
