Thiruvananthapuram: The Opposition has strongly criticized the police for checking the phone calls of Kovid patients. At a press conference, Ramesh Chennithala asked if there was an attempt to make Surveillance a state. The disease is not a crime, the patient is not the culprit, and the DGP is blatantly violating the law. The police action is shocking. Kerala will not be allowed to become a police state. The government should state how long the CDR has been collected and how many have been collected. Chennithala also demanded clarification on whose information was collected.
