Hotels in Turkey will not be closed in case a coronavirus infection is found among the guests. This was announced today by the Turkish Federation of Hoteliers (TUROFED), quoted by TASS and BTA.
All hotel employees have completed a training program developed in accordance with the so-called certification for healthy tourism. If an infected person is identified among the holidaymakers, the staff will follow the instructions sent by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Special rooms for insulation are provided, so the hotels will not be closed, the federation clarifies.
According to industry representatives, it is very unlikely that Turkish hoteliers will raise the prices of their services this year, despite the increase in costs related to the fight against the coronavirus.
