The federation believes that Turkish hoteliers “are unlikely to raise the prices of their services this year, despite the increased costs” related to the fight against the coronavirus.

In early May, Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that it had launched a health tourism certification program, which would take effect at the start of the 2020 tourist season. protective masks will be distributed, their temperature will be measured, and disinfection booths will be installed on the territory of the terminals.

A set of measures has been introduced in the country to ensure the health of the staff of the tourism industry. The health status of the employees will be checked regularly, and they will also be trained in the issues of health care, personal and public hygiene.

So far, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Turkey has exceeded 231,000, of which 5,710 have died and 215,516 have recovered.
