Belgium issues code orange for North Holland

NORTH HOLLAND – According to the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our province is a risk area when it comes to corona. In addition to regions in France, Spain, Croatia and England, in the eyes of the Belgians, ‘increased vigilance’ is also required in North Holland and it is not recommended to visit our province.

This can be read on the website of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. When our southern neighbors still visit the North Holland coast, quarantine and a corona test are recommended. In addition to the fact that Belgians in our province must be ‘highly vigilant’, this is also indicated for South Holland and Zeeland.

The fact that code orange has been announced for the provinces is probably due to the increase in the number of infections in the region.
