Dubai: The launch of the UAE spacecraft has been postponed. The spacecraft is scheduled to launch tomorrow from the Tanegashima Space Center in Japan. With the launch, the UAE will become the first Arab country to reach other planets. According to Arab media reports, the launch was postponed due to bad weather at the launch site in Japan.

The new launch date has been postponed to Friday, July 17. The spacecraft is equipped with an ultraviolet spectrometer to detect stars and detect water and atmospheric features on Mars.
