Out of the 15 players who participated in the last training sessions, outside line players Roberts Bērziņš and Valters Vēveris, as well as power striker Linards Jaunzems will not go to Tallinn.
The biggest experience is for the center player Kaspars Bērziņš, who will be the captain of the national team in this tournament.
Eight players will play their first games in the national team. Most of the debutants have previously been the leaders of Latvian youth teams.

According to the restrictions set by the Estonian government, Saku Suurhall will be able to accommodate a maximum of 1,500 people (including competitors) during the Games.
