The footballers of Prague's Slavia will be strengthened by the defender Ondřej Karafiát, whose contract in Liberec has expired.
“I have a huge motivation. Slavia is a big club and I just hope that I will be able to experience what the boys experienced last year, because there is nothing more on the club scene than the Champions League. I will do my best to repeat these experiences,” said Karafiát on the Slavia website.
He has played 109 matches for Liberec in the league since 2016 and scored one goal. He also tried out the European League with Slovan.
“He is a player of optimal age with great potential, who went through Jindra Trpišovský under his hands in Viktorka Žižkov and subsequently in Liberec, so he knows his philosophy and the way he plays. We are glad that we managed to catch up at this time. in order to increase the competition as a stopper, he can also play as a defensive midfielder, “said Jiří Bílek, a member of the Board of Directors and the sports department of Slavia.
