Scientists have created a counterpart of the corona virus that causes Kovid in the lab. The non-malignant vesicular stomatitis virus was developed by the Washington School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Like the corona virus, the new virus is able to produce antibodies in the human body.
The virus is named SV-SARS-CoV-2. The study, published in the journal Cell Host and Microbes, found that the Kovid vaccine could be very helpful in finding alternatives to drug development.
