This electric car allows acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h in 9.7 seconds in Sport mode and provides a top speed of 150 km / h. The high-voltage (400 V) rechargeable battery with a capacity of 50 kWh is made using innovative lithium-ion technology. At a fast charging station with 100 kW, the battery can be charged up to 80% in half an hour. When you charge the car in houses with a device with a current of 32 A, the procedure takes from 5 to 7 hours.
The new model, which the French define as a cross between a crossover and a hatchback, will also be available with a new generation of Euro 6d petrol engines. These engines will have an output of 100 to 155 hp. There will also be diesels, the power of which will be in the range of 110 -130 hp. They will work with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic.
The wheelbase 2,670 mm, length – 4,360 mm, width – 1800 mm, height – 1525 mm. The company noted that due to the raised body, the point of view for the driver is higher than for competitors cars (1.22 m), which provides significantly improved visibility.
In terms of appearance, each buyer will be able to configure the car to your liking thanks to 31 combinations of exterior decoration and 6 options for interior decoration. The French company has promised that the new model will offer “a new level of modern overall comfort”.
This will be possible thanks to special suspension, innovative seats, large interior space and practical features such as universal fasteners for Smart Pad support devices and more. The driver will be assisted by 20 different systems, including a semi-autonomous level 2 driving system. The new C4 and ë-C4 will be available for order in Europe in the autumn of 2020.
