Italian champions Juventus recorded their third consecutive game without a win, ending in a 3-3 draw away to Sassuolo in a match in the 33rd round of Serie A. The Bianconeri remain at the top of the table with a seven-point lead over Atalanta “five rounds before the end of the season.
Maurizio Sari’s team started the match well and led by two goals until the 12th minute. Danilo opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area. In the 12th, Gonzalo Higuain doubled Juventus’ lead after a good pass from Miralem Pjanic.
By the end of the first half, Sassuolo was more active and made a total of 10 shots on goal by Wojciech Szczesny. In the 29th minute, Filip Djuricic scored a goal and returned the intrigue.
The better game of the green and blacks continued after the break, when in just three minutes “Sassuolo” scored two goals. Domenico Berardi equalized in the 51st minute with a wonderful performance from a direct free kick. Three minutes later, the striker assisted Francesco Caputo for the third goal of “Sassuolo”.
Juventus reached the point with a goal by Alex Sandro in the 64th minute, when the defender intercepted a cross from a corner of Bentancourt.
Before the draw with Sassuolo, Juventus lost to AC Milan and made it 2-2 with Atalanta. In his next match, the leader in the table hosts Lazio.
