After the coronavirus was released, Bolsonaro had a lung infection

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has a fungal infection in his lungs. This was announced by his office after he was diagnosed with coronavirus at the beginning of the month.

Bolsonaro himself commented that he felt acutely weak, after which he was carefully examined and diagnosed. He is currently on antibiotic treatment.

About a week ago, Bolsonaro said his coronavirus test was already negative. He was diagnosed with the virus on July 7.

The Brazilian president is one of the biggest skeptics about the danger that COVID-19 poses. His reaction to the infection led to the resignation of the former health minister, who went so far as to accuse the head of state of “genocide” against the Brazilian population.

Meanwhile, before becoming infected, a court in the country had to issue a decision forcing Bolsonaro to wear a mask in public, as required by law.

With his behavior, Bolsonaro caused mass discontent among Brazilians.

There are currently more than 2.6 million cases of coronavirus in Brazil, and more than 91,000 have died.
