Two Katyushas struck a US-led coalition base in Iraq

Two Katyusha missiles have landed at Iraq’s Taji base, used by US-led international coalition forces, Reuters and TASS reported.

No casualties were reported, according to the Iraqi National News Agency. So far no one has claimed responsibility.

The Taji base has been repeatedly hit by missiles. US troops have been the target of similar attacks at other Iraqi bases. In addition, the “green zone” in Baghdad is periodically shelled, with the US embassy being the main target.

Washington believes pro-Iranian Shiite groups operating in Iraq are behind the attacks.
