It is noteworthy that Dhi Qar governorate suffers from a significant shortage of this substance due to the high number of infections with Corona virus in the governorate.
In a related context, the governor of the city, Nazem Hamid Al-Waeli, called last Sunday for Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to agree to enter an oxygen shipment coming from the State of Kuwait.
A document issued by the governor included: “Please kindly approve and instruct the Border Ports Authority to allow the entry of medical oxygen from the State of Kuwait through the Sfwan border port, supplied to us by the Sumer Medical Gas Company, for the purpose of using it in the governorate hospitals.”
