Real (Madrid) will not play their remaining home matches of the Spanish championship at their club stadium “Santiago Bernabeu”.
This was announced by the president of the club Florentino Perez.
The Whites, who finished second in the standings of La Liga, will complete the 2019/20 campaign at their training complex, using the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium in Valdebebas.
“The decision will help us complete the Santiago Bernabeu repairs on time,” Perez said in a letter to club members. The Spanish championship will be resumed on June 13 after a three-month break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
