Prime Minister Manmohan Singh demands resignation


Kathmandu: Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called for the resignation of the Communist Party of Nepal. Senior leaders including Pushpakmal Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), former Prime Minister of Nepal and Communist Party chairman, have demanded the resignation of KP Sharma Oli.

KP Sharma has come under intense criticism following a heated argument in the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal. Oli is accused of trying to overthrow the government. Prachanda has openly denounced the fact that one of the top leaders in Nepal should not make such cheap remarks. There has been criticism that the Prime Minister’s ability to fail in every way is turning against India.

Communist Party leaders Madhavi Kumar Nepal, Jwalanath Khanal and Bamdev Gautam supported Prachanda. Senior leaders pointed out that a prime minister should not have made such references without evidence.

Sharma, who hates India and is a partisan of China The Nepali Congress and a large section of the Communist Party of Nepali have come out publicly against Oli. There was a demand for the immediate recapture of China’s Nepal land.
