Dileesh Pothen and his team trapped in Africa We will reach Kochi today


CActor Dileesh Pothen and his team, who were trapped in Africa during the Nima shooting, will reach Kochi at 6 pm. The group that went to Africa to shoot the movie ‘Djibouti’ was trapped after the lockdown. There will be 71 members including Dileesh Pothan. The crew will be on a special flight commissioned by producer Joby P. Sam.

The team will be in Djibouti in Africa in March for the shoot of Amit Chakkalakal’s upcoming film. The shooting of the film was completed on April 18, but the journey was delayed due to lockdown. The journey was made possible through the strong involvement of the Djibouti government, the film’s producer and the Indian embassy. The film crew will arrive at Nedumbassery, Kochi, on an Air India flight at 6 pm.

The film is directed by SJ Cinu, director of the television series Uppum Mulakum. ‘Djibouti’ is the first film. The film is being produced under the banner of Neil Blue Hill Motion Pictures by businessman Joby Sam and his wife Maria Sweety Joby in Djibouti for ten years. Most of the film was shot in Djibouti. The film was shot on the island of Tajura, about 300 kilometers from Djibouti. After the shooting crews arrived in Djibouti, they settled in a specially prepared area.

Shakun Jaswal from Shimla is the heroine. The film crew includes Dilish Pothen, Gregory, Athira, Rohit McGough, Balatharam and a half year old George and his family, Fight Master Run Ravi and his team from Chennai. Joby P Sam, Shakun Jaswal and Rohit are flying to Mumbai. All the others are ready to stay in Quarantine on the direction of the government. Chennai teams have to spend twice in Quarantine in Kerala and Chennai.
