American Los Angeles Galaxy club officials have canceled the contract with its Serbian player Alexander Katay, due to his wife’s statements against the country’s protesters via social media.
“We have reached an agreement to separate from midfielder Alexander Katai,” the club said in a statement.
Tia Katai, the player’s wife, launched a violent attack on American demonstrators condemning the killing of George Floyd.

Tia called for “the killing of the demonstrators,” whom she described as “disgusting livestock” through her Instagram account.
Violent demonstrations erupted in the United States of America following the killing of the African-American citizen, George Floyd, by the police during his arrest.
The 29-year-old joined the Galaxy last December from Chicago Fire, and only played two games before stopping sports due to the Corona virus.
