Yuvraj wants to break Sehwag’s record: Rohit Sharma Rohit Sharma | Yuvraj Singh

Mumbai: Rohit Sharma made his maiden double century at the Chinnaswamy Stadium against Australia in 2013. Rohit became the first Indian to achieve this feat after Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. Rohit scored 209 runs.

Yuvraj Singh, however, was unhappy with Rohit’s double century. Rohit says he only realized it after returning to the dressing room. Rohit was revealed during an Instagram live chat with R Ashwin.

Yuvraj was unbeaten on 209 runs. Virender Sehwag’s record of 219 runs was a disappointment. Yuvraj then told Rohit that he could have broken Sehwag’s record if he had got one more over.

But Rohit broke that record a year later. Hitman hit 264 against Sri Lanka. Rohit then scored another double century. 2017 was a double century against Sri Lanka. He was unbeaten on 208 runs.
