New map of Nepal with Indian territories added. Nepal has mapped out some of India’s mountains along the India-Nepal border. The map was approved by the ruling party in Nepal earlier this month. Nepal has incorporated this mountain region into its own map through a constitutional amendment bill. Opposition Nepali Congress has said it will support the amendment.

It is noteworthy that Nepal has changed its stand when the situation on the border between India and China is extremely complicated. The ruling Left Party is openly supporting China. Nepal has shifted to its own borders, including areas considered crucial to the Indian army, including the Kalapani.

In Nepal, a constitutional amendment can only be passed through a month long process. Now, the Nepal government has decided to abandon certain procedures in view of popular sentiment. The bill will be passed by Nepal’s parliament within the next 10 days. There will be no opposition in Parliament.

Earlier this month, India raised strong criticism of the Nepal ruling party’s approval for a land-merger map of India. The Foreign Ministry has described Nepal’s move as an unilateral, unilateral decision.

“The extension of such an artificial map is unacceptable,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Srivastava said. “India’s position on the border areas is clear. Nepal should withdraw from this kind of unjustifiable mapping. “We must respect India’s boundaries,” he said.

Nepal claims that the territories along the India-Nepal-China border are owned by the British East India Company. On the eastern side of the Kali River, Nepal borders the Nepal border with its own border. These include the Lipullekh Pass in Uttarakhand. It is interesting to note that after the war with China in 1962, the Limpiyadurai and Kalapani regions, which are considered crucial areas of the Indian Army, are also within the boundaries of Nepal.

The controversy started when India built a new road along the Lipulekh Pass and the Kailash Mansarovar road. Nepal has come out with strong protest. Nepal said it would establish a security post on this road. India has unconditionally rejected this. India retaliated that the road was completely within the boundaries of India.

Earlier this month, Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had made a controversial statement saying that Kovid was spreading across the border and that the “Indian virus” was more deadly than the Chinese and Italian viruses.
