Volcanic activity suddenly accelerated in Mount Etna, on the coasts of the Italian city of Sicily, last night as there was an increase in the boiling of lava due to the high internal temperature.
According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Sicily, after three hours this phenomenon witnessed a sharp decline with the emission of ash trapped in the volcanic summit area.

The institute stated that “the explosive activity from the crater with periodic emission of ash that is spreading rapidly near the summit area has not been subject to any changes.”
