In the context, the German government announced yesterday, Saturday, that Chancellor Angela Merkel refused to participate in the summit that was to be held in Washington at the end of June.
It is reported that Trump wrote earlier on Twitter that he wanted to hold the G7 summit despite the “Coffed-19” epidemic “on due dates or so.”
It is noteworthy that in the background of the events of the Crimea, the group of “G8” countries turned into the “Group of Seven” in 2014, after the “Group” countries decided not to participate in the Sochi Summit, and met in Brussels without Russia.
This group of “Big Seven” currently includes Germany, the United States of America, Canada, Japan, France, Britain and Italy.
