Travel length is reduced; The main bridge was opened in Dubai and the construction of 13 bridges is nearing completion

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the construction of all roads and bridges under the Dubai Hills Mall Project. As part of this, a large bridge was opened in Umzakim. The main bridge, which cuts the length of travel from 18 minutes to seven minutes, was opened by the RTA on Saturday.

The new bridge will connect Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road to Al Khail Road. This is one of 13 bridges that the RTA has completed. The length of the Umuzaqim Bridge is about half a kilometer, with a four-lane road in both directions. RTA officials have said that traffic congestion in the Dubai Hills and Barsha areas will be able to pass over vehicles without waiting.

This is the main road which leads to 8000 vehicles per hour. The 13 bridges are 3700 meters in length. The RTA’s road building project seeks to bridge bridges of 23,500 vehicles per hour.
