THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that thermal scanning will be conducted for all students who take the SSLC and Plus Two examinations. After the Kovid review meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram, the chief minister said the government would provide travel facilities to the students.

If you are unable to write the exam, then the students will have to worry and will have the opportunity to do regular exams with the SEE exam so as not to miss the opportunity to study. The 14-day Home Quarantine is compulsory for students from other states.

Special seats will be set up for those in the Home Quarantine, students in the Containment Zone, and children from other states. Children who pass the examination should interact with their households only after having bathed and cleansed their bodies. All schools will be disinfected by the fire force, he said.

The CM said that the war rooms would be opened from May 23 at the Directorate of Public Instruction and the Deputy Director of Education for each district to address the suspicions of students, teachers and children.

Gloves are worn by teachers who arrive at exam centers. The answer sheet will be kept in the examination center for seven days. Those concerned were instructed to provide needed sanitizer and soap for children. The Chief Minister added that arrangements have been made in all examination centers in the Gulf and Lakshadweep regions.
