Kuwait City ● Kuwait City delays repatriation of Malayalees The reason is that the Government of Kerala has refused to accept them. There are more than 500 Malayalees who have obtained amnesty from Kuwait government camps and some 1500 who have been outpaced.

The amnesty is being taken to India at the expense of the Kuwait government. People were taken to the Jazira Airways flight on Thursday to Vijayawada and on Friday to Vijayawada and Lucknow. On Friday, 150 people traveled to Vijayawada and 134 to Lucknow. This was possible only when the Andhra Pradesh and UP governments were willing to accept people from the state.
