The Military Watch realized that there was nothing to catch bombers in the United States

The American edition of Military Watch decided to find out how well the United States can intercept strategic bombers of other countries.

According to the publication, from May 28 to 31, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is conducting large-scale exercises in the Atlantic Ocean to test the interception of long-range bombers by a potential enemy.

It is believed that maneuvers at this level are taking place against the backdrop of growing tensions with Russia and China. At the same time, Russia and the United States remain the only countries to have intercontinental bombers. However, China has supplied its Xian (Xian) H-6 bombers, a licensed copy of the Soviet Tu-16 jet bombers, with new long-range munitions that could threaten targets in the United States.

According to the publication, the most dangerous bomber for the United States is the Russian Tu-160. The Americans also stressed that Russia was investing in the modernization of the MiG-31, when the Pentagon did not invest for many years in the creation of aircraft of this class.

So they look only with envy at the Russian MiG-31.
