The head of European wrestling, Tseno Tsenov, has died at the age of 80.
Tsenov was born on September 9, 1939 in the village of Markovo, Plovdiv region. Graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, specialty “Bulgarian Philology and History”.
His whole life was devoted to struggle. He first worked as the secretary of the federation, and then for two years as its chairman.
He is a member of the bureau of the World Wrestling Federation and manages the European headquarters for five terms. He was also an adviser to Sports Minister Krasen Kralev.
Tseno Tsenov is the father of our colleague Dilyana Tsenova.
