American guitarist and producer Bob Kulik, who became famous for his work with the rock band “Kiss”, has died at the age of 70, DPA reported.

His brother and former member of the said band Bruce Kulik confirmed the news of his death on Twitter. “With a broken heart I share the news of the death of my brother Bob Kulik. His talent and dedication to music will forever remain in our memory!”

The musicians from the band “Kiss” also posted that they learned the sad news with deep sadness and expressed their condolences to Kulik’s family, adds BTA.

In the initial audition for guitarists for the still unknown band “Keys”, Bob lost the competition at the expense of Ace Freley. But he remained friends with singer Gene Simmons and rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley, giving him the chance to record several albums with the band – “Alive II,” “Unmasked,” and “Creatures of the Night.”

Kulik recorded Lou Reid’s 1975 album “Coney Island Baby,” worked as a studio musician for Diana Ross, and toured with Meat Loaf.
