The body of the dead woman was found buried in Chavakkad Kovid


Thrissur: The dead body of a woman found dead at Chavakkad Kovid has been buried. The body was buried according to the Covid protocol. Pokakkillith Kadeejakutty, 73, wife of late Mohammed, anjangadi kettungal, died on Wednesday.

The body was taken to the Chavakkad hospital for burial in the morning. The funeral was held in the Adhamaruti Jumamasjid of Chavakkad Kadapuram Panchayath. The funeral was in compliance with the Covid protocol. Four members of the White Guard, a volunteer organization of Kadarapuram panchayat, carried out the raid. The health department had given them special training.

No relatives were allowed in the vicinity. Five persons are in the custody of Khadijakutty. Khadijakutty’s son was rushed to the hospital and five others, including the driver of an ambulance, were on watch. Their samples were sent for inspection.

Khadijakutty moved to Mumbai three months ago to live with her three daughters. Could not return due to lockdown. He then returned with a pass through Norca.

The couple, who were with their children in Mumbai, reached Palantkad with three other relatives in a car and reached Perinthalmanna.

His son was brought to Perinthalmanna with an ambulance from Chavakkad. They were rushed to Chavakkad Taluk Hospital in the early hours of this morning.

They were suffering from diabetes, hypertension and shortness of breath. The son and an ambulance driver are being monitored by the health department after the Covid test results were positive. The ambulance’s driver’s cabin was distinctive.

The health department will prepare a list of those who have come in contact with Kadeeja Kutty.
