At the moment there are no fines for high school graduates, but in case of non-compliance with the rules, the police will draw up acts of violators. There will be an increased police presence at the exits of the cities. And where necessary, teams will regulate traffic.
At the border with Turkey at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint and the Lesovo border checkpoint, the traffic of trucks is intensive at the exit, according to the data of the Ministry of Interior. Foreign citizens in cars, vans and buses are not allowed to enter Turkey, only Turkish citizens are allowed. Turkish border authorities do not allow truck drivers who are citizens of epidemiologically risky countries to enter the country. Drivers who have visited these countries in the last 14 days are also not allowed to enter.
At the border with the Hellenic Republic at the Kulata border checkpoint, the traffic of trucks is intensive in both directions. The passage through the Zlatograd border checkpoint has been suspended due to the complication of the epidemiological situation on Greek territory. At other checkpoints, the Greek border authorities temporarily only allow foreign nationals living or working in Greece, which must be certified at the border with an official document in Greek. The restriction does not apply to truck drivers.
At the border with Romania at the Danube Bridge Ruse border checkpoint and at the Danube Bridge Vidin border checkpoint the traffic is intensive for trucks at the exit, and at the Danube bridge Vidin border checkpoint at the entrance. The Romanian side has temporarily suspended the passage of people and cars at the border checkpoints adjacent to the Bulgarian Nikopol, Svishtov, Kaynardzha, Krushari and Kardam. From 25.03.2020 Bulgarian citizens traveling to Romania are subject to mandatory 14-day quarantine at the address specified by them. The measures do not apply to drivers of lorries with a capacity exceeding 2.4 tonnes.
At the border with the Republic of Serbia at the Kalotina border checkpoint, the Vrashka Chuka border checkpoint and the Bregovo border checkpoint, the traffic of trucks is normal. From 01:00 on 22.05.2020 at the three points on the Serbian side abolish all restrictions imposed on persons wishing to enter the territory of Serbia with cars, vans and buses in both directions.
At the border with the Republic of Northern Macedonia at Gueshevo border checkpoint, Stanke Lisichkovo border checkpoint and Zlatarevo border checkpoint, truck traffic is normal. Foreign citizens traveling in cars, minibuses and buses are not allowed to enter the Republic of Northern Macedonia. On leaving RS Macedonia, travelers can only cross the Gueshevo – Deve Bair border checkpoint.
