The players resumed training on the direction of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). England pacer Stuart Broad and Chris Vox were the first to train. The duo are the first to return to training after the Covid crisis.
Personal training is now only permitted. Brad trained at Trend Bridge in Nottingham and Vox Edgebaston in Birmingham.
The ECB has compiled a list of 18 pacers to conduct personal training at seven different grounds in the country.
So much work has gone into the behind-the-scenes work to make this possible. Thanks to all the people @englandcricket & The @trentbridge who has been involved, I really appreciate it. Felt great to have a bowl out there. Loved it. 🏏 pic.twitter.com/uZNfPBKzJ3

Broad was trained without a wicket-keeper or a batsman. In view of the Kovid threat, the ECB will provide separate balls to each bowler. Only one physiotherapist agreed to meet the Covid criteria to provide the necessary advice to Bro.
