We remind you that the Airbus A320 with more than 100 people on board crashed in a densely populated residential area of the Pakistani city of Karachi on landing.
Shortly before reaching the airport, the pilot informed the air traffic controller that one of the two engines had failed. Just before the crash, the plane signaled a disaster.
A live baby of several months and a 5-year-old child were taken out from under the rubble.
Footage from social networks shows thick smoke rising from the place where the plane crash took place.
The death toll has already reached 97. This was reported by AFP, quoting a representative of the authorities in Pakistan, BTA reported. It is not yet possible to say whether all the dead were passengers on the plane, or among them are residents of the homes destroyed in the crash.
