Pakistan plane crash kills at least 97 people, two injured PIA plane crash

KARACHI: A Pakistan International Airline plane crashed on a civilian site in Karachi, killing 97 people. Two others survived with serious injuries. The bodies of the 19 dead have been identified so far.

Pakistani health ministry spokesman Meeran Yousuf said that the bodies of 60 people have been shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center and 32 bodies have been transferred to Civil Hospital in Karachi. The Pakistani Air Force has appointed a four-member team to investigate the cause of the accident. Initial reports said the plane crashed due to a technical failure.
