Islamabad: A Pakistani International Airlines (PIA) passenger who was a passenger on a plane that crashed in a residential area of ‚Äč‚ÄčKarachi has miraculously escaped. There were 107 people, including passengers and crew, on board the plane that crashed. The first reports were that all those on board were dead. However, Bank of Punjab CEO Zafar Masood has miraculously escaped with minor injuries, Pakistan’s Geo News reported.

The PIA plane crashed after a mechanical crash while trying to land at the Jinnah International Airport. The flight had 98 passengers including Zafar Masood.

According to Geo News, Zafar Masood has been shifted to the Darul Sehat hospital. Zafar spoke to his mother on the phone and explained her condition to her, who was injured in the shoulder and the hip. The brother who arrived at the hospital informed the media that he had not sustained burn injuries or other injuries in the plane crash.

The PIA’s Lahore Karachi plane crashed in a model colony near the airport. The plane’s wallet hit the ground first, and anyone in the front seat escaped, according to a Pakistani press release. Many houses in the residential area have been damaged. The BBC reported that the accident occurred shortly after the ban on the spread of the coronavirus virus was lifted.
