NEW DELHI: Two Pakistani high commissioners involved in espionage have asked India to leave the country within 24 hours. The Foreign Ministry said in an official news release. Abid Hussain and Tahir Khan were expelled from the visa section of the High Commission.

As a member of a diplomatic mission, the government expelled these two officials for engaging in activities that were inappropriate for their position, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. The Delhi Police Special Cell found that they were working for Pakistan’s Inter Service Intelligence (ISI), which used a fake ID card. Indian security agencies arrested her on Sunday and asked her to leave the country within 24 hours.
