Nootdorp – From Monday 1 June, anyone with complaints can have themselves tested for the corona virus. In the Haaglanden region, a new, larger test location is being set up behind the Van der Valk Hotel in Nootdorp.
The new test location was realized in collaboration between GGD Haaglanden, the Van der Valk group and the Dutch Red Cross. Earlier, specific target groups could already be tested in the hotel’s parking garage. To provide space for everyone who wants to be tested, various test streets will be built in a large tent on the site. People are tested from the car and do not get out.
The test site is open seven days a week. Up to 900 people can be tested for coronavirus here per day; this number can be expanded if necessary.
Mobile test unit
The mobile test unit is also present on the site. From Monday, June 8, it will be in front of the municipal office on Laan van Glazen Stad 1 in Naaldwijk on working days in the morning and at HMC Antoniushove in Leidschendam in the afternoon. Here, people who are unable to come to the test location in Nootdorp by car can have themselves tested by appointment in case of complaints.
National telephone number
Testing is only possible with complaints and by appointment. From 1 June you can call a new national telephone number. This issue will be announced on Monday 1 June at 8 a.m. via a national campaign.
