Non-Resident Keralite dies following treatment


Riyadh: A man from Kozhikode who was treated for Kovid’s death died in Jubail. Abdul Azeez Mannoor, 53, of Farruk Kadalundi, Mannar, area manager of the sales department of Ismail Abu Dawud Company, died on Friday afternoon. He had been in the intensive care unit of Jubail Muwazat Hospital for a week.

Two weeks ago, the company had gone to Khafji in a vehicle with another employee. Abdul Azeez was late to learn about Kovid’s affair with a fellow Yemeni citizen. Abdul Azeez suffered from shortness of breath while undergoing treatment. Abdul Azeez’s condition, which had been admitted to the Muwaswat hospital ventilator, was slightly improved on Thursday and hospital authorities said he was responding well to the medication. But the situation got worse on Friday.

The death of Abdul Azeez, a member of the National Committee of the Saudi Indian Islahi Center National Committee and Jubail Vice President, has grieved the expat community. His wife, Jubi, and his daughter, Sana Mariam, are being treated at the same hospital. His son, engineering student Mohammed Rasin, is studying in the country.
