Narendra Modi’s economic package brutally jokes

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi today said the central government has no compassion for the poor. All powers are now concentrated exclusively in the Prime Minister’s Office. At a joint video conference meeting of the opposition parties, Sonia criticized the government for abandoning its pretense of being democrats instead of selling the public sector undertakings.

The economy of the country has been seriously damaged. Experts have suggested that it should be awakened. Sonia Gandhi, however, said that the Rs 20 lakh crore financial package announced by the Modi government has turned into a cruel joke.

The prime minister’s optimism is that the fight against Kovid will end in 21 days. But it was wrong. The virus is known to be present until the vaccine is detected. The central government did not even have a clear understanding of the lock-down criteria and the termination of the regulations.

In addition to the migrant workers, there are about 13 crore people in the country who do not get the due treatment. Farmers, leaseholders, traders, small entrepreneurs and self-employed persons were brutally neglected. It is worrying that the government has no solution to these problems. Most heartbreaking is that this government has no compassion or compassion for the poor and needy.

The meeting was attended by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal, BSP leader Mayawati and SP leader Akhil Yadav were absent from the meeting.
