Military meeting in Pyongyang to enhance the North Korean army’s defensive capabilities


North Korean media reported on Sunday that North Korean leader Kim Joon-un hosted a military meeting to discuss his country’s nuclear military capabilities and ways to develop them.

North Korea’s media reported that a military meeting discussed taking measures to strengthen the armed forces and contain large or small military threats by enemy forces reliably.

New policies were put forward during the meeting to further increase the country’s nuclear war deterrence and put the strategic armed forces on high alert.

According to private press sources, “the meeting concluded that decisive measures were taken to increase the strength of artillery fire in the North Korean army.”
