Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that some concessions will be given to night restrictions in connection with the festival. It is customary to go to the store at night and buy groceries after a month of preparation for the feast. Overnight restrictions will prevent it. Taking this into account, the shops that sell the necessities will be open till 9 pm tomorrow night and tomorrow if the month begins. The Chief Minister said that if there is a feast this Sunday, there will be concessions on full lockdown. The Chief Minister said this in a press conference after the Covid review meeting. The Ramadan and the small feast come at a time when the people are in a great crisis. But there is not a situation here, nor anywhere in the world, to celebrate the usual festivities. The feast of the feasts, which was held in the mosques and in Eid Gah, is performed in their homes this time. The Muslim religious leaders made this decision with the intention of protecting the interests of the community. Eid-ul-Fitr gives a great message of equality and tolerance. “I applaud everyone who is involved in the spirit of this project,” he said.
