THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police officers and prisoners have been kept under surveillance for a convicted prisoner. A total of 30 police officers and 14 inmates of the sub-jail were kept under surveillance at Venjaramoodu station.CI and SI are in the quadrant. Jail DIG Santhosh told News18 that special arrangements have been made in the jail following the conviction of the convict.

On Friday, a vehicle driven by a native of Venjaramoodu hit a police officer. He then confiscated a fake VAT from his vehicle and took him into police custody. He was produced in court and remanded.
