Thiruvananthapuram: With 10 new cases of Kovid patients detected, 10 more areas have been set up as hot spots in the state. With this the number of hot spots in the state has increased to 116.New hot spots

The new hot spots are in Badiyaddu, Pilikodu in Kasaragod district, Pallassana in Palanikadu district, Puthunagaram in Thalassery municipality in Kannur district, Panmana in Kollam district, Punalur municipality in Kollam district, Kulathupuzha, Aryankavu and Thenmala. The hot spots in Kulathupuzha, Aryankavu and Thenmala have no containment zones.

Kovid confirmed 61 people in Kerala on Sunday. 12 from Palakkad, 10 from Kasargod, seven from Kannur, six each from Kollam and Alappuzha districts, four from Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta districts, three from Thrissur, one from Malappuram and one from Wayanad and two from Ernakulam district. The disease was confirmed.
