Dubai: Four Malayalees have died of Kovid in the Gulf today. So far, the number of Malayalees who have been affected by Kovid’s death in the Gulf has reached 100. The deceased is Jayachandran Pillai, a resident of Pathanamthitta, Vallamkulam Parappuzha, who was under treatment at Kovid in Ajman, UAE. He had been undergoing treatment at the Ajman Sheikh Khalifa Hospital since last month.
Unnikrishnan, a native of Thrissur, died in Sharjah. Unnikrishnan had been running his own business in Sharjah and had returned home four months ago. He had an angioplasty due to heart disease. It was reported that he also had diabetes.
Aslam, a native of Payyannur, died in Dubai. He was 28 years old. Abdul Azeez PV, 52, from Farok, Kozhikode died in Dammam. Abdul Azeez was in the intensive care unit of Jubail Muwazat Hospital for a week. Two weeks ago, the company had gone to Khafji with another employee in a vehicle demanding it. A Yemeni fellow traveler learned late on that Kovid was infected. Abdul Azeez suffered from shortness of breath while undergoing treatment.
